About

Long View High School is an Alternative Education Campus (AEC) in Jeffco Public Schools for students in grades 10-12. Long View serves students who have been expelled, are at risk of being expelled or who need a higher level of support than their neighborhood school can offer.

Long View offers wraparound support for students to build academic and social-emotional skills. Long View is a transition-based program, meaning that students do not graduate from Long View. Instead, our focus is to help students build the skills to be successful in another Jeffco school where they can achieve their educational goals.

Goals

Long View’s goals are to:

  • Give students a fresh start.
  • Provide wraparound academic and social-emotional support.
  • Make sure all students have a trusted adult at school.
  • Help students acquire the skills to have meaningful options after high school.
